Founded in 1998 by Barry Wurzel with the goal of providing quality construction services in Central Texas, Wurzel Builders has grown to become one of the most trusted builders throughout Texas and the Southwest.  We’ve established a reputation for quality construction and reliability among clients, developers and subcontractors.

While our initial construction projects were completed in Austin, we have expanded to finish new construction, building expansions and renovations throughout Texas, Kansas, Missouri, Mississippi, Washington, Arkansas, and Oklahoma.  In 2009, we established the Facilities Maintenance Division in Bentonville, Arkansas to provide outstanding service to our growing client base outside of Texas.

As full service general contractors and construction managers, we have extensive experience in the retail industry and have completed new construction, expansion projects and renovations in the hospitality, government, banking, education and healthcare sectors.

Commercial building projects have ranged from new construction for Walmart, the City of Cedar Park, and Sams Club to expansion and renovation projects for HEB Grocery Stores and the Stephen F Austin Hotel.

Over the past thirteen years, we’ve created an environment of collaboration and openness to ensure building projects are completed on schedule.  Through our strong relationships with subcontractors and building professionals, we ensure clear communication and exceptional craftsmanship.
